Minus Crushed Black is the another commonly used driveway material. It is dark
grey to black in color. It is crushed in size from 1
¼”
down to 0" including the fines, or binder material, which helps it to pack in.
It is good for driveways, particularly if the area is slightly soft. Basalt is a
blasted rock, meaning it contains no round edges, therefore it will pack better
than aggregate rock will.
