Minus Crushed Basalt is a black colored rock. It is crushed in size from
⅝"
down to 0" including the fines, or binder material, which helps it to pack in.
It is creamier than the ¾"
Minus Basalt, making it especially suited for walkways and areas where a smooth
finish is desired. Basalt is a blasted rock, meaning it contains no round edges,
therefore it will pack better than aggregate rock will. Because of the
consistency of the binder material, this material does not spread well when wet.
