Crushed Basalt is black in color. It is crushed without fines, which
makes it particularly effective in soft areas. It is also a very attractive

rock, which means it will not pack in tight, but it will allow for drainage.
Basalt is a blasted rock, meaning it contains no round edges, therefore it will
pack better than aggregate rock will.
